Where's AssadO?

The misinformation network CNN says Russia is 'done' with Bashar al Assad and they are sure President Putin will 'hide him'

Over at the BBC, while trying to claim Assad and his family are living happily ever after in commie Russia, they accidentally let a little truth slip out between the lines:

Hours after rebel forces seized control of Damascus, it was reported by Russian state media that Assad and his family had arrived in Moscow and that they would be granted asylum on "humanitarian grounds".

But when Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov was asked about Assad's whereabouts and asylum claim by reporters on Monday, he said: "I have nothing to tell you... right now. Of course, such a decision [on granting asylum] cannot be made without the head of state. It is his decision." BBC

Why would Assad remain quiet in exile after being deposed by America's al Qaeda henchmen? Why would Russia play along and continue to let Western media make statements like they are 'hiding him'?

Well for one thing the fate of Russia's military footprint in the region hangs in the balance:

'Russia is close to securing a deal to retain control of two military bases in Syria following talks with (al Qaeda) 'rebels' who overthrew 'dictator' Bashar al-Assad last week, officials close to the Kremlin believe.

Sources in Moscow, Europe and the Middle East said the Kremlin believed it had an “informal understanding” that it could keep control of the bases.

One source cautioned that the deal was tenuous and “could still change amid the instability in Syria”, Bloomberg reported.

Neither the Kremlin nor the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) (al Qaeda), which defeated Assad, has commented. However, Turkey (Fidan) is a backer of HTS (al Qaeda) and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Turkish president, is on good terms with Vladimir Putin.

Russia’s two bases – the Tartus naval base and the Khmeimim air base – are considered vital to the Kremlin’s plans to project force, power and prestige across the Mediterranean Sea and into Africa.

Russian foreign ministry officials have said they are focused on “ensuring the safety of Russian citizens and assets in Syria”. Satellite images have shown that Russia has, at least temporarily, abandoned its Tartus naval base in Syria since HTS fighters marched into Damascus virtually unopposed on Sunday.' Yep. Russia has good reason to play along with the ruse, if indeed that is what it is.

Assad would probably not remain radio silent after leaving Syria. Believe it or not, there were large numbers of Syrians who loved him and his family and the Arab League was in the process of normalizing relations with him just as Hamas was.

And now he and his family are gone without a peep and we are left with jackasses from CNN suggesting the plan is to hide Assad forever.

Yeah they are hiding something. In all honesty (if you recall Erdogan pled with Assad to meet with them and make arrangements for him leaving Syria safely and Assad told him off) it never made sense to me that Assad would refuse to negotiate his surrender of Syria only to turn around and surrender just a day later.

In all likelihood it's going to turn out that Assad and members of his family were either caught by the terrorists and killed or they were shot down while traveling inside Syria.

As you can see, Russia has a huge stake in keeping their mouths shut. They are negotiating the future or Russian influence in the region with al Qaeda.

Were it to be known that the terrorist slaughtered the former President of Syria and his family, folks on the fake alt-left would have a harder time convincing their audiences they should support the new regime on supposed 9/11 terrorists in Syria.

Plus you might just set the Middle East on fire after what Israel has done to Palestine and Lebanon.

So it serves Russia's interest to keep mum on the situation 'for now'

It's also a bargaining chip.

I certainly hope that Bashar and his family are safe and far from the terrorists we trained and unleashed upon him and the rest of the world. And yes, these psychos would hunt him down and kill him and his entire family for fear he could return to Syria and take back control of the country.

But he could still do an interview or make a statement from an undisclosed location to put the fears of his fellow Syrians at ease. The longer he waits the more folks will eventually start wondering.

Did Assad actually leave Syria or did our terrorists slaughter him and his family like the brutal monsters they are?

Time will tell I guess.
