RFK Jr. is Fulfilling his Master's Wishes Cutting NIH Funding on Behalf of Billionaire Tax Cuts
by Scott Creighton
RFK Jr. makes me sick.
He's currently under the spotlight being grilled by congress critters for awful cuts to NIH to which he keeps replying 'well when did I do that?' suggesting if they can't tell him exactly what day he signed off on it, it must be a lie.
But he refuses to answer if he remembers actually doing it. Cus he doesn't want to admit he's gutting NIH so TrumpyBear and Russ Vought can reduce government overhead in anticipation of that Big Beautiful Bill that will RAISE taxes on poor people and MASSIVELY CUT TAXES on the rich.
RFK Jr.'s family is rich, BTW.
'President Trump used his budget blueprint on Friday to forge ahead with his assault on the nation’s public health and biomedical research enterprise, proposing draconian cuts to the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that experts warned would upend decades of progress in advancing human health, well-being and longevity.
In hard numbers and biting words, the budget wipes out a string of programs, including one that helps low-income people living in cold climates pay heating bills. It eliminates C.D.C. programs devoted to preventing chronic disease and injuries, including gun violence injuries, dismissing those programs as “duplicative” and “unnecessary.” New York Times

'The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee’s minority staff report, released Tuesday and authored by Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont, says that in the first three months of this year, the Trump administration cut $2.7 billion in National Institutes of Health funding for research. That figure is much higher than some separate estimates that previously suggested targeted grant terminations have affected more than $1.8 billion in NIH funding.' CNN

'In fact, the $105 billion tax cut going to the 1 million households making over $1 million in 2027 exceeds the cut going to the 127 million households making under $100,000 (this figure, like the other figures here, have adjusted the Joint Committee on Taxation’s estimates to include the effects of the estate tax, which they do not include).
These imbalances are even greater when taking into account the massive proposed cuts to crucial health care and food assistance through Medicaid and SNAP, and the fact that provisions benefiting the wealthiest are permanent while families with the lowest incomes would see an eventual tax increase.' 'Earlier today, House Republicans unveiled the final parts of their partisan tax and budget bill. Their proposal would dramatically reshape America for the worse: It would implement the largest cuts to both Medicaid and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) in history—kicking millions of Americans off their health insurance and taking food away from hungry children. It would raise household electricity costs while trapping most middle-class and poor students in greater student loan debt to afford a higher education. And it would make all these changes as a means to partially offset tax breaks that disproportionately go to the richest Americans, giving households in the top 0.1 percent a multihundred-thousand-dollar tax break on average while increasing deficits by trillions of dollars. Taken as a whole, the bill would add trillions of dollars to structural deficits despite these enormous cuts to critical services.
If enacted, this would be the largest transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich in a single law in U.S. history.' CAP

'A large tax cut, as well as more money for defense and immigration enforcement, would be financed by slashing health, nutrition, education and clean energy programs.' NYT

'A new report shows low-income families would lose income and wealthy would gain if Republicans extend tax cuts and reduce Medicaid and SNAP.' USA Today
All sorts of people are being hurt by these cuts and layoffs in order to make room for Big Business and billionaires to stuff their pockets a little more. It's not just poor people on EBT or SNAP or Medicaid it's all sorts of people. Fired government workers, folks with businesses and NIH contracts and the communities in orbit of these cottage industries are paying the price so rich folks can think about another plane or boat. Right alongside the poorest of the poor.
These fucks don't care. They'll start cannibalizing each other pretty soon.
Aunt BB pointed out years ago just how many influencers who were on the right side of the Covid-19 days ended up going rampant Free Marketeers and neoliberals since then. It's a shame really.
RFK Jr. is one of the worst of em all.
He's always been a selfish spoiled child and it seems he hasn't changed a bit.
He has no qualification for the job Trump gave him other than being a yesman to Project 2035.
RFK Jr. is quickly eroding the Kennedy name as he pisses all over the memory of better men in the past and shits on mythology of Camelot.

The worm-brained idiot didn't even know that he killed a program that was named after his aunt. The asshole needs to not come out of his natural habitat and continue swimming/laying/playing in that shit water.
